Rams to Place WR Cooper Kupp on Injured Reserve, per Report

Rams star wide receiver Cooper Kupp will miss at least the first four weeks of the 2023 NFL season after being placed on injured reserve, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Kupp, who first injured his hamstring during practice at training camp on Aug. 1, now will be out of action until at least Week 5.

The elite wideout, who has not played since he suffered a season-ending ankle injury in Week 10 last season, will be immensely missed as the leader of Sean McVay’s offense. Last season the veteran wide receiver hauled in 75 catches for 812 yards and six touchdowns in just nine games.

Rams receiver Cooper Kupp will miss at least the first four games of the 2023 season.

The 30 year-old Kupp is a coveted player in fantasy football after earning the NFL's triple crown in 2021, when he led the league in catches (145), receiving yards (1,947) and touchdowns (16).

The Rams, who head on the road in Week 1 for a showdown with NFC West rival Seattle, will now be forced to lean heavily on wideouts Van Jefferson and Puka Nacua as well as pass-catching tight end Tyler Higbee in the passing game.
