Kareem Hunt Shows Love to Nick Chubb With Pregame Outfit in 2023 Browns Debut

The Browns signed Kareem Hunt to a one-year contract on Wednesday after star running back Nick Chubb suffered a season-ending knee injury during last Monday night’s game vs. the Steelers.

Hunt played in Cleveland from 2019–22, but the team losing Chubb is what seemingly sealed the deal for the running back to return to the Browns.

Ahead of his 2023 season debut with the Browns, Hunt showed up to Sunday’s game vs. the Titans in a No. 24 Chubb jersey to support his teammate. The Browns posted a video of Hunt walking into Cleveland Browns Stadium with the caption “playing for 24.”

During Hunt’s four seasons with the Browns so far, he’s totaled 1,874 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns in 49 games, along with tallying 973 receiving yards on 132 receptions with seven additional scores.

Chubb’s official diagnosis has yet to be announced, however NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported that initial tests showed that Chubb suffered a torn MCL. However, the injury was sustained to his left knee, the same knee that was dislocated in 2015 when he played at Georgia. Chubb also tore his MCL, PCL, and LCL in that previous incident.
