NFL Fans Loved Bears WR DJ Moore Stepping in to Get Justin Fields Help After Big Hit

The Bears have endured an ugly afternoon during their Week 3 matchup versus the Chiefs. Receiver DJ Moore made sure it didn't get even uglier.

Chicago quarterback Justin Fields took a hard hit from Kansas City linebacker Willie Gay in the fourth quarter and was wobbly following the jolt to his facemask. Fields attempted to go to the Bears huddle to call the next play, but Moore could see that his QB was having trouble.

Looking out for his teammate, Moore pulled Fields away from the huddle and forced him toward the sideline to get attention from the team's training staff.

Fields shouldn't have tried to play anyway after appearing dazed with possible concussion symptoms. But there was certainly no need to take even the slightest risk to his health with the Bears trailing 41–0. Moore made sure Fields didn't do more to hurt himself and NFL fans noticed.

Fields ended up not missing a snap. As a nice footnote for the moment, he threw a nine-yard touchdown pass to Moore. But the receiver made a far more important play that won't show up in the box score.
