Eli Manning Wants Taylor Swift As ManningCast Guest for Chiefs Game

Taylor Swift completely took over the NFL news cycle this weekend when she visited Arrowhead Stadium and saw the Chiefs dominate the Bears amid rumors she’s dating Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce. And if Eli Manning gets his way, she’ll be on another NFL broadcast in the near future.

While talking to Sports Illustrated’s Robin Lundberg, Manning was asked about the latest buzz around Swift, and he made a pitch to have her appear on the ManningCast for an upcoming Monday Night Football game.

“I think she would be a popular guest,” Manning said. “Now that she’s a football fan and going to Chiefs games and connecting with Travis Kelce, our next Chiefs game—that’s an easy ask. We’ll have to see if she wants to come on the show.”

Sure enough, there’s a perfect date for her to make an appearance if she were so inclined. Although Swift appeared in Kansas City to support Kelce and the Chiefs, the Pennsylvania native is a noted Eagles fan. And the ManningCast is scheduled to cover the Monday Night Football game on Nov. 20 when the Eagles will visit the Chiefs.

Not only is this a Super Bowl LVII rematch, but Kelce’s brother, Jason, is Philadelphia’s All-Pro center. It would be a perfect stage for Swift to make an appearance with the Mannings since she won’t be able to be there in person. According to The Eras Tour website, she will be performing in Brazil at that time.

It’s a big ask, but Manning knows it would be must-watch TV.
