Jalen Hurts is slippery, but not that slippery.

There are a lot of ways to describe Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. On Sunday, Fox analyst Mark Sanchez picked a pretty weird one.

As Philadelphia faced off against the New York Jets, Hurts was slippery as ever. He's a tough guy to take down.

Hurts's play was worth mentioning, and so Sanchez took a shot.

"They can't get this guy to the turf," Sanchez said. "Jalen Hurts, what is he? He's like a salmon covered in Vaseline, bro. This guy's just too slippery."

Not every metaphor is necessary. Just "slippery" probably would have worked fine here Mark.

Fans following the game from home were confounded with Sanchez's comparison.

If you ever find yourself having dinner with Mark Sanchez, don't order the salmon.
