Sean McVay's Prediction About His Son Not Being Born on a Sunday Was Spot on

Rams head coach Sean McVay’s prediction that his son would not be born on a Sunday turned out to be spot on.

Last week, McVay told reporters that he wasn’t worried about missing a game despite he and his wife Veronika Khomyn expecting their first child. McVay said he would miss a game to be there for the birth of his son, but maintained that he would not have to, because his son “knows better than to come during a game.”

On Tuesday, McVay and Khomyn welcomed their son, Jordan John McVay. The team announced the baby’s arrival on Wednesday, four days before Los Angeles’s next game which is slated for Sunday against the Cowboys.

With the birth of his son coming midweek, McVay figures to be back on the sideline for the Rams during Sunday’s clash in Dallas.

The Rams announced the birth of McVay’s child with a clever post on social media, and the NFL world had plenty of reactions, ranging from delight for McVay to jokes about his son not being born on a Sunday.
