NFL Fans Fuming Over Brutal YouTube Sunday Ticket Issues During Week 8 Games

NFL fans looking to settle in for a full Sunday slate of games had some trouble in the early afternoon.

YouTube, which just this year bought the rights to NFL Sunday Ticket, the league's streaming package that allows football fans to watch out-of-market games as well as the extremely popular NFL Red Zone, was having some issues with lag.

At times, broadcasts would freeze up, only to sprint forward later as if to catch up to the present moment.

YouTube was aware of the issue, and put out a statement as complaints began to come in from viewers.

"If you're experiencing buffering issues on YouTube our team is aware and working on a fix," wrote TeamYouTube on X, formerly Twitter. "YouTube TV or NFL Sunday Ticket may also be impacted. we'll follow-up here once this has been resolved."

But while the YouTube team was looking to fix the issue, fans who paid hundreds of dollars to watch an uninterrupted stream of football every Sunday made their voices heard.

Hopefully all the issues are ironed out before the start of the late games on Sunday.
