Broncos Found Perfect Way to Troll Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift After Upsetting Chiefs
The Broncos managed to stun the Chiefs on Sunday, picking up their first victory against their divisional rivals over their last 17 meetings, back when Peyton Manning was under center in Denver.
The Broncos were overjoyed by the upset win, and they expertly trolled Travis Kelce and Kansas City after the game. Empower Field at Mile High’s audio system was blaring with the popular Taylor Swift track “Shake it Off” while fans soaked in the win.
Broncos fans could be heard cheering from the stands while the team’s cheerleaders were on the field dancing to the Swift song in the aftermath of the 24-9 win.
Swift was reportedly not in attendance at Sunday’s game as she prepares for her Eras Tour to resume on Nov. 9 in Argentina. Despite her not making an appearance in Denver for the game, the Broncos comically blasted her music in celebration of their win.
Kelce, who statistics indicate plays better when Swift is at the game, caught six receptions for 58 yards. It was just the second time this season he’d gone for less than 60 yards, and the first time since Week 1.
Sunday marked the Broncos’ first win against the Chiefs since 2015, and the first time they’ve held them to less than 10 points since 2012.
What better way to celebrate the end of a long losing streak than by telling the Chiefs to “Shake it Off?”
