NFL World In Awe Over Courtland Sutton’s Toe-Tapping Touchdown After Vintage Russell Wilson Pass

The strong connection between Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson and receiver Courtland Sutton was again on display in Week 10 as the tandem produced more fireworks in primetime against the Bills.

With Denver leading, 3–0, midway through the second quarter, Wilson and the Broncos faced a daunting fourth-and-2 in the red zone. Denver’s decision to go play-action left Wilson scrambling to evade pressure from Bills pass rusher Shaq Lawson while looking toward the end zone.

Astonishingly, Wilson would not only avoid Lawson with a nifty half-spin and rollout but the 12-year veteran managed to find Sutton with a vintage, high-arcing pass to the corner.

Wilson’s lofty ball landed in the waiting arms of Sutton, who showed off some exceptional toe drag swag with his right cleat. After initially being called out of bounds, Sutton’s absurd catch was deemed a score upon review for the wideout’s seventh touchdown of the year.

With Denver looking for a statement win, the incredible TD gave the club a needed surge of momentum and an early 9–0 lead that ballooned to 15–8 by halftime.

As for Wilson and Sutton, the pair received loads of praise on social media from fans and pundits who couldn’t believe the play stood:
