NFL Fans Roasted Zach Wilson After He Embarrassingly Fell While Taking the Field

Zach Wilson and the Jets’ offense got off to another sputtering start on Sunday, failing to get a single point on the board until just before halftime against the rival Bills.

Wilson was struggling to connect with his receivers throughout the game, and to make matters worse, he had some unfortunate difficulties while leading the team onto the field for a drive in the second quarter.

While jogging onto the field, Wilson could be seen turning around to face the sideline before tripping over his own feet and falling backwards to the ground. The CBS broadcast highlighted the awkward moment, and things worsened still for New York when Wilson threw an interception a couple of plays later.

Fans on social media had plenty to say about Wilson’s unfortunate tumble, as the NFL world fired off a plethora of jokes about the quarterback and the offense’s woes.
