Artist Creates Josh Allen Snow Sculpture of Crucial Missed Penalty in Bills-Eagles Game

A Buffalo artist found a creative way to express the disappointment of Bills Mafia with a horse collar tackle of Josh Allen that was not penalized during the team’s Week 12 loss to the Eagles. New York caricature artist Eric Jones posted the amusing sculpture on his Facebook account on Thursday.

“The MAFIA was nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of penalty flags danced in their heads,” Jones wrote in his Facebook post, offering Bills fans the opportunity to come “throw a penalty flag” where the Allen sculpture is in Buffalo.

Now that is how you protest a penalty.

The play occurred during the second quarter of the Bills-Eagles game when Philadelphia pass rusher Haason Reddick grabbed a handful of Allen’s jersey and wouldn’t let go, shredding the material as he reached his other hand behind the Bills star’s jersey to aid in his tackle. Bills fans were understandably furious that the official right in front of the play did not throw a flag.

Bills fans who are feeling icy towards NFL officiating after the 37–34 loss to the Eagles now have the perfect spot in Buffalo to vent with each other over the missed penalty.
