Jets’ Garrett Wilson Perfectly Roasted Zach Wilson for Failed Juke Attempt vs. Texans

Not even the best performance of his career could save Zach Wilson from being roasted by his Jets teammates.

Wilson impressed with his 301-yard, two-touchdown performance in a 30—6 win over the Texans on Sunday, but one of his receivers, Garrett Wilson, couldn't help but engage in some good-natured ribbing at the expense of his signal-caller.

The third-year Jets QB scrambled out of the pocket on one play with a Texans defender fast approaching him from the secondary. Wilson attempted to juke the defender, a move that failed spectacularly, with the QB falling to the turf untouched.

After the game, Garrett Wilson took to his account on X, formerly Twitter, and joked that his QB made the move because he had bet the Texans on the money line to win outright.

In all seriousness, Zach Wilson did just about everything right to ensure that New York emerged with the victory. The Jets (5–8) return to action on the road against the Dolphins (9–3) at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.
