The Detroit Lions made light of last week’s controversial trick play ahead of Sunday’s matchup vs. the Minnesota Vikings.

The Lions attempted a two-point conversion last Saturday vs. the Dallas Cowboys with 20 seconds remaining to essentially win the game. Quarterback Jared Goff threw a pass to offensive tackle Taylor Decker in what seemed to win the game. However, the officials took back the score as they determined that Decker did not report as an eligible receiver and they negated the conversion.

Coach Dan Campbell, Goff and Decker all claim that the offensive tackle did report. They stated that the officials believed Decker was offensive tackle Dan Skipper instead.

So, the Lions social media decided to troll the officials when Decker arrived at Ford Field on Sunday. The team posted a video of him opening the door with the caption “Reporting for duty.”

Decker added to the fun by replying with “This is not me,” a jab at the fact that the officials thought he was a different player.

The Lions replied once again, but this time with a video of Skipper saying “here you are.” Even though the Lions lost the Cowboys game last week, the team is making sure they have the last laugh.
