Andy Reid Drops Perfect One-Liner About Frozen Mustache From Frigid Chiefs-Dolphins Game

Andy Reid has jokes.

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Miami Dolphins 26—7 on Saturday night at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in temperatures so frigid that only photographs and videos could truly explain just how cold it was to viewers watching from the warm confines of their homes.

One Chiefs fan snapped a picture of a beer can that had frozen in the bitter winter air. But the best pictures and videos were of Reid, whose mustache had literal icicles on it.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Reid cracked a joke about his frozen facial hair, per Marleah Campbell of KCTV5 on X, formerly Twitter.

"Worst thing that could happen is it falls off," Reid said as the room full of reporters broke into laughter. At one point, the Chiefs coach's 'stache seemed to be solid enough that he just might have lost it on the turf at Arrowhead.

But that would have been the only thing Reid lost, given the way the Chiefs, who raced out of the gate to a 16—7 at halftime and never looked back, played on Saturday.

Reid and the Chiefs will now turn their attention to the Buffalo Bills—or the Houston Texans if Buffalo falls to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday.

Reid's frozen mustache may yet make another appearance this postseason, seeing as the Chiefs will either play in Buffalo or at home again in the divisional round.
