NFL Fans Question Nick Sirianni’s Standing With Eagles After Disastrous Playoff Loss

The Philadelphia Eagles’ late-season collapse resulted in one final flameout on Monday, courtesy of a resounding playoff loss sure to cast doubt on the future of coach Nick Sirianni.
Tabbed as the NFC’s No. 5 seed, the Eagles bowed out of the postseason with a 32–9 wild-card road loss to the No. 4-seeded Tampa Bay Buccaneers, capping a skid that saw the club lose six of its last seven games after a 10–1 start.
Given the stunning slump, many NFL fans were quick to question Sirianni’s job security in the aftermath of a loss that ended a disappointing season for a team that fell just short of a Super Bowl LVII victory a year ago. The discontent also comes at a time when rumors have swirled surrounding Sirianni’s relationship with the team.
With Philadelphia’s pivotal offseason now set to begin, Monday’s outcome and the responses to it figure to play a role in what comes next for Sirianni, who already has his share of detractors despite being under contract through the 2025 season and making the playoffs in each of his three seasons:
Just don’t see how Nick Sirianni can survive. Can’t believe that’s where we are at but that’s what happens after this coaching disaster and the biggest collapse in Eagles history. Actions speak louder than words. And better coaches have been fired for less under Jeffrey Lurie.

If the Eagles are going to keep Nick Sirianni, somebody needs to explain a good reason why.

The Eagles couldn’t explain why they were winning, that’s why they never figured out how the heck to stop losing! pic.twitter.com/lT8EcixHXc
The Eagles have fired far better coaches than Nick Sirianni.

Good for Baker Mayfield, Todd Bowles and the Bucs tonight‼️ Meanwhile a crazy collapse by the Eagles…is Sirianni’s job safe?

In a game where he may have essentially been coaching for his job, Nick Sirianni delivered an F performance.

Nick Sirianni is on the verge of losing 6 out of the last 7 games.

Biggest coaching joke job in league history.
It’s hard to justify bringing Sirianni back after how this epic collapse but if you fire a coach, you have to attract a great one.

What good coach would ever take the Eagles job? It’s the least secure job in the league with absurd expectations no matter how successful you are.
“Nick, are you getting fired tomorrow?”
