New Falcons OC Zac Robinson Welcomes Baby, Gets Job in Epic 20-Minute Span

The Atlanta Falcons hired Zac Robinson as their new offensive coordinator on Saturday night, but that wasn’t even his biggest news of the day.
A couple hours before the news of Robinson’s hiring became public, his wife, Mia, gave birth to the couple’s second child, Cooper.
According to NFL Network’s Peter Schrager, Robinson told his agent just 20 minutes after the birth of his son that he would accept the offer to join new Falcons head coach Raheem Morris’s staff in Atlanta.
Schrager posted a photo of Robinson, daughter Madi and new son Cooper on Sunday morning.
Quite a day.

Robinson joins Morris after spending the past five seasons on the Los Angeles Rams’ coaching staff. Morris was the Rams’ defensive coordinator for the past three seasons. Robinson most recently served as the Rams’ passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
The new offensive coordinator’s contract will be for three years, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reported.
