Kristin Juszczyk Scores NFL Licensing Deal After Making Custom Jacket For Taylor Swift

The mastermind behind Taylor Swift’s viral custom jacket is getting some good karma in 2024.

Kristin Juszczyk, a Bay Area-based fashion entrepreneur and the wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, inked a licensing deal with the NFL which allows her to use NFL logos in her designs for men’s and women’s apparel, as first reported by Sportico. The financial terms have not yet been released.

Juszczyk’s clothing designs first went viral when Taylor Swift rocked an iconic custom Kansas City Chiefs jacket inspired by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, to the wild card playoff game against the Miami Dolphins on Jan. 13. Swift twinned with Brittany Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes’s wife, who donned a similar Chiefs-inspired jacket designed by Juszczyk.

Since then, Juszczyk has become the hottest name in football fashion and gained over half a million followers on Instagram. In the past month, a notable list of celebrities have sported Juszczyk’s custom-made apparel including Simone Biles, Klay Thompson, and Taylor Lautner.

Juszczyk, who has been making her own outfits to wear at 49ers games for the past five seasons, uses football jerseys and thrifted NFL pieces to construct her designs, as shown on her social media accounts.

While Juszczyk may owe a sizable portion of her success to Swift, chances are she won’t be sewing anything for the Eras Tour pop star when the Chiefs play the 49ers at the Super Bowl on Feb. 11.
