Rival Packers, Bears Coaches Sat Together at Marquette Game, and NFL Fans Had Jokes

In this story:
The Green Bay Packers–Chicago Bears rivalry is one of the most intense in professional sports.
But coaches Matt LaFleur and Matt Eberflus put their differences aside on Wednesday night to attend a Marquette basketball game. They sat next to each other courtside.
It’s interesting to consider what LaFleur and Eberflus could have discussed, especially during the offseason. Surely, they weren’t sharing behind-the-scenes secrets.
Marquette posted a couple of images of the coaches on X, formerly known as Twitter, and the reactions quickly blew up. The caption for the post was hilarious, too.
“Marquette basketball brings everyone together,” it read.

This is definitely something most fans would never expect to see: two rival coaches enjoying another sporting event together.
So, understandably, the social media reaction to Marquette’s post about the two coaches was loaded with shocking and negative responses. To many Green Bay and Chicago fans, this was viewed as a betrayal of their beloved NFL teams.
Check out some of the social media responses below.
I wonder if LaFleur asked Eberflus “So ya’ll really getting Caleb Williams?”
