NFL Fans Loved Kirk Cousins’ Classy Move After Falcons Picked Michael Penix Jr.

In this story:
By now the entire football world knows that the Atlanta Falcons pulled off the biggest stunner of the 2024 NFL draft when they selected Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. with the No. 8 pick in Thursday's first round in downtown Detroit.
What many fans might not know, however, is that Kirk Cousins, who the Falcons signed to a huge deal just last month, quickly reached out to the rookie QB and had a nice conversation with him.
Penix shared that information during his introductory press conference Friday in Atlanta, saying he would keep the conversation between the two of them private but that Cousins is "super excited" about working with Penix.

Kirk Cousins is legitimately one of the best human beings in the NFL. Reaching out to Penix last night despite being blindsided by this incompetent organization. Most guys would not do that. https://t.co/efMTIFZ97b
