Chidobe Awuzie Making Progress, Shares Positive Update Ahead of Bengals Training Camp

In this story:
CINCINNATI — Bengals cornerback Chidobe Awuzie continues to recover after undergoing knee reconstruction surgery in November.
The 28-year-old is certainly making great strides in hopes of being fully cleared and ready to go for the first week of the season.
Awuzie did various agility drills during minicamp without a brace. He was running, cutting, planting and jumping on his surgically repaired knee.
The Bengals top cornerback shared a small update about his status earlier this week.
"Feeling like myself," Awuzie tweeted.
It remains to be seen if he'll be cleared for Week 1 against the Browns, but it sounds like an early season return is possible and maybe even realistic.
The Bengals report for training camp on the 25th. Their first practice is on the 26th.
