CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow has one big individual goal that he opened up about on Tuesday.

The Bengals franchise player is aiming to be "the best in the world" at his position.

It's pretty clear to him who holds that crown right now.

"I don't think there's any argument right now, it's Pat (Mahomes)," Burrow declared to the media. "Until somebody's had a better year than he's had, he's the one to knock off."

Mahomes just entered rarefied air in a season where he won NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP in the same run, all while finally beating Burrow's Bengals for the first time.

Cincinnati gets their next crack at him on New Year's Eve and will probably have to go through the Chiefs to win the AFC.
