Tee Higgins on Joe Burrow Waiting Game: 'Got to go Out There And do Our Jobs'

In this story:
CINCINNATI — Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is trying to stack consecutive good games as Cincinnati goes for its first win of the season on Monday night.
Higgins noted the team is focused on beating the Rams with or without quarterback Joe Burrow.
"At the end of the day we just got to go out there and do our jobs," Higgins said on Thursday. "Coach is gonna put us in the best position to win and it's our job to go out there and execute."
Higgins caught two touchdowns and posted 89 yards on eight catches in the 27-24 loss to the Ravens. He's confident he could perform like that again even if Cincinnati turns to backup QB Jake Browning.
"I see the balls that he's throwing," Higgins said about why he's confident in Browning. "He's throwing to the scout team, and he just puts it in the perfect spots. And he was putting it in the perfect spots when Joe was out in the preseason."
Browning should take a jump in production from his 75.1 passer rating in the preseason if he gets to play with this group of weapons. Still, Cincinnati is far from a contender without Burrow on the field.
