Bengals Rank Fourth in ESPN's Football Power Index

CINCINNATI — ESPN Analytics has released the 2023 NFL Football Power Index and the Bengals check in at No. 4 on the rating list behind Kansas City, Buffalo, and Philadelphia.

"The Cincinnati Bengals are fourth in FPI rating, as they return their key offensive triumvirate of Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins. Cincy has also added Orlando Brown Jr. at left tackle to shore up its biggest weakness."

Cincinnati is fourth on the list, but there's a proverbial chasm between them and San Francisco at No. 5.

The Bengals (+4.6) are a full point higher than the Niners (+3.6). Only nine teams have a rating of +3 or better and just three of those are in the NFC.
