Charlie Jones and Irv Smith Jr. Will Miss Bengals' Road Matchup With Titans

Cincinnati is hoping to improve to 2-2 on Sunday in Tennessee.

CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will start on Sunday after being a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. 

It's great news for the star signal-caller, especially on a short week. 

The Bengals will be without a few guys do to injury. Rookie wide receiver and starting punt returner Charlie Jones won't play due to a thumb injury. Tight end Irv Smith Jr. will miss a second consecutive game with a hamstring injury. 

Zac Taylor shared the news with reporters on Friday afternoon. 

Look for Tanner Hudson to be elevated from the practice squad to fill in for Smith. Trenton Irwin will also be active this week with Jones out.
