Bengals Get Rare Win With Inconsistent Offense
CINCINNATI — The Bengals pulled off a rare feat under head coach Zac Taylor in Monday's 19-16 win against the Rams. According to Pro Football Network's Jay Morrison, The Bengals pulled off the second win of the Taylor era when scoring less than 20 points.
The team is now 2-26 under Taylor when scoring less than 20 points.
Joe Burrow was clearly limited as the defense stepped up and ensured the other side of the ball some breathing room as the game wore on. Cincinnati is now one game back in the AFC North, although they need to start stacking wins in the conference, starting this weekend against Tennessee.
Oddly enough Cincinnat's held the Titans to 20 points or less in five of the past six meetings.
