Bills Meet Bijan Robinson; WATCH 40-Yard Dash at NFL Combine

Texas Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson had all eyes on him at the NFL Scouting Combine, and it's a near guarantee the Buffalo Bills were watching.

Texas Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson has consistently been paired with the Buffalo Bills in numerous mock drafts this offseason.

But despite the hype, he's had to wait till the final day of the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis to show off his skills, as he and the rest of the running backs took the field for drills on Sunday.

And with all eyes on both him and the 40-yard dash, Robinson didn't disappoint with an unofficial 4.47 finish on his first run and a 4.48 on his second. The official time came out to 4.46

Take a look:

Robinson also finished with a 10-feet, four-inch broad jump and a 37-inch vertical.

"First of all, I feel like if you're a guy who can do all three for your offense, I think that's a very special quality for a player,'' Robinson said at the combine. "You line a player up at receiver, at slot or, obviously, at running back. Just creating mismatches all over the field and being able to create space for yourself ... that's a high-value everybody should look at."

When factoring in these three qualities, there's a reason that, while also being named the nation's top running back as the 2022 Doak Walker winner, Robinson led the nation with 1,894 total scrimmages yards (1,580 rushing, 314 receiving) and was second in total touchdowns (20).

Add that to the fact that he led the Big 12 in carries (258), rushing yards (1,580) and rushing touchdowns (18) during the regular season and you've got a running back that lives up to both to the billing.

It remains a mystery which team will take a first-round swing on Robinson. But despite the understandable stigma that comes with selecting a running back too early in the draft, it could prove to be unwise to pass on Robinson before its too late.
