Former Baltimore Ravens free agent defensive lineman Calais Campbell is on the open market and could be set to join his fourth team since being drafted in the second round by the Arizona Cardinals in 2008.

Even at age 36, teams are still interested in the six-time Pro Bowler.

Per reports Friday from ESPN, Campbell has free agency visits set up with the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets. He already met with the Atlanta Falcons and his former team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, but appears ready to explore his options.

"Age is just a number" was a cliche that Campbell proved to be true this past season, as he finished with 5.5 sacks, his most in a season since 2019 despite missing three games. He also added two forced fumbles.

However, the Ravens released him on March 13 in a cap-clearing move.

Crazy enough, almost all of Campbell's 2022 sack production came in a five-game stretch, as he totaled 4.5 sacks from the Ravens' 24-20 loss to the New York Giants on Oct. 16 to their 28-27 loss to the aformentioned Jags on Nov. 27.

The Bills could potentially follow suit with the cryptic social media messages from defensive tackle Ed Oliver by trading him away. There's likely a major role for Campbell to fill on the d-line if this were to happen.

Campbell has played 227 games in his career, posting 809 total tackles, 99 sacks, 16 forced fumbles, 12 fumble recoveries. He also has three career picks and 57 passes defended since entering the league.
