Bills BREAKING: Dion Dawkins Signs Contract Extension - Details

The Buffalo Bills are keeping left tackle Dion Dawkins in town for the foreseeable future after signing him to a three-year extension.

After giving Buffalo Bills fans a scare to begin free agency, left tackle Dion Dawkins' is staying put with the organization that drafted him.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Bills and Dawkins have agreed to a 3-year $60.5 million extension on Monday. The deal will make Dawkins the four-highest-paid tackle in the NFL.

"Y'all are [crazy]," Dawkins said on X. "Why would I ever leave Buffalo? I'm never leaving guy, I'm Buffalo for life."

Dawkins has been one of the more reliable left tackles in football since he was drafted by the Bills in 2017, as he has made the Pro Bowl three times. He also helped anchor one of the best offensive lines in football, as Buffalo only allowed 24 sacks last season, the fewest in the NFL.

Pro Football Focus graded Dawkins with a 73.7 and credited him with only allowing one sack in 2023.

With the change surrounding Buffalo, including cutting center Mitch Morse, keeping most of the offensive line together to protect Josh Allen is a must this offseason. By keeping Dawkins in Buffalo for the foreseeable future, the Bills are doing just that.
