Bills Set for Pre-Draft Meeting with USC's Jordan Addison; No. 1 WR in Class?

If USC Trojans receiver Jordan Addison can bring anywhere close to the kind of production he had in college to the NFL, he could be well worth the pick at No. 27 for the Buffalo Bills.

The Buffalo Bills are heating up their pre-draft visits, especially as it pertains to the top receivers in the class.

After it was reported Monday that Buffalo is scheduled to meet with Ohio State receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba - arguably the top pass-catcher in the draft - the Bills are now set for a meeting with a receiver who rivals JSN at the top of the positional heap.

Per NFL Network, USC Trojans receiver Jordan Addison is going to meet with the Bills sometime this week. He's already met with the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens, and will now stay in the AFC zone. He'll also meet with the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants.

Addison, a former Biletnikoff Award winner during his time with the Pitt Panthers, has been on draft radars for quite some time now. He's been one of the most talked-about receivers in a class that isn't considered deep at the position, but could be headed toward a first-round selection regardless.

Just ask his USC teammate Mekhi Blackmon, who did an exclusive interview with us. There's little doubt about where Addison should go.

"Most definitely," Blackmon told SI's Bills Central at the NFL Combine. "I would say he's the best for sure. No disrespect to the guys in the draft, but just going against him and seeing how he runs routes.

"If I were a team, I would pick him No. 1 for sure."

Addison was the pass-catching star for a USC offense that featured Heisman-winning quarterback Caleb Williams this past season. Despite missing some time, Addison still finished with a 59 catches for 875 yards and eight touchdowns, six of which came in the first four games of the season.

During his Biletnikoff Award-winning season in 2021 - an honor given annually to the best receiver in college football - Addison proved he can be the top pass-catcher in the class. In 2021 at Pitt, he was fourth in the nation in receiving yards (1,593), sixth in catches (100) and was tied for first in receiving touchdowns (17).

Bringing anywhere close to this kind of production to potentially bolster the Bills offense would be well worth the pick at No. 27 for Buffalo.
