Bills WATCH: RB Darrynton Evans Makes Play of Preseason with Crazy TD Run

Buffalo Bills running back Darrynton Evans had one of the plays of the preseason against the Chicago Bears.

The Buffalo Bills are wrapping up their preseason slate against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Saturday, but Bills running back Darrynton Evans is hardly done making highlight plays.

The former Bear is looking to secure a roster spot with Buffalo, and made a great case for himself after breaking what seemed like 1,000 tackles on his way to a crazy 35-yard touchdown run at the start of the fourth quarter.

A third-round pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2020 out of Appalachian State, Evans spent two seasons in Nashville. He played in six games for the Titans, posting 16 carries for 61 yards. He added four catches for 38 yards and a receiving score. Evans also added nine kickoff returns for 206 yards.

He played in six games for the Bears last season, totaling 14 carries for 64 yards and one catch for 33 yards.

The 25-year-old's best game last season came in Chicago's 31-10 loss to the New York Jets in November. He posted career-best marks in carries (nine), rushing yards (34) and receiving yards.

The Bills have a talented running back room with James Cook, Damien Harris and Latavius Murray. Evans is now looking to be that final guy to slip into the fold, as he's hoping his impressive touchdown lands him on the 53-man roster.
