Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens: Preview And Prediction

In this story:
A Week 6 win over San Francisco was certainly the statement win of the Browns season thus far. A Week 10 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, however, is easily their biggest challenge to date.
The stakes for this game are as high as ever. A win and the Browns knock the Ravens down a peg, atop their AFC North penthouse. A loss, and well, Cleveland is likely kissing it's division title hopes goodbye.
Injuries are perhaps the biggest concern for the Browns heading into the weekend. With LT Jedrick Wills on the IR and RT Dawand Jones nursing multiple injuries, the offensive line will have it's hands full against a Ravens pass rush that leads the league in sacks. On the flip side, Cleveland's defense is a force in its own right that gives them a chance to win almost any game.
The stage is set. Our staff's Week 10 picks are in:
Anthony Moeglin: Browns 17, Ravens 16
The Browns muck it up. The number one defense in the NFL stimies the Baltimore offense and Lamar struggles for the first time this season. The Browns' offense plays a clean game with no turnovers and it takes a last-minute, vintage Deshaun Watson drive to put Dustin Hopkins in field goal range. Hopkins buries a last second field goal and the Browns escape Baltimore with a huge win.
Anthony Poisal: Ravens 24, Browns 17
The biggest thing the Browns must do in this game is protect Deshaun Watson. With both starting tackles out against Baltimore — who leads the league in sacks — that job will be a tough one, and it's imperative the Browns find ways to avoid Watson taking a beating off the edge. The Browns defense can keep this close, but the Ravens boast elite units on both sides of the ball and might be the best team in the NFL.

Brendan Gulick: Browns 23, Ravens 17
Spencer German: Ravens 27, Browns 19
The Ravens are rolling right now in this Todd Monken offense, plus they're pretty much fully healthy this time around. On the flip side, the Browns have been absolutely gutted by injuries. With BOTH Jedrick Wills and Dawand Jones out for this game, there should be legitimate concern over the offense getting into any sort of rhythm. Deshaun Watson appears to be turning the proverbial corner but I'm not quite sure he's ready to lift his team over one of the best defenses in football – especially with two backups starting at tackle. This feels like a game Cleveland will keep close for a while, maybe it's say, 13-10 Baltimore at the half. But I think the Ravens offense is just better than the Browns right now and they'll pull away for the win.
