Former Buccaneers' Running Back Involved in Scary Car Incident
Earlier today, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back, Leonard Fournette, was involved in a scary car incident.
In a video shared to his Instagram account shortly before noon on Tuesday, Fournette shows his car on the shoulder of a highway, completely torched by flames.

The caption of the Instagram post read, "Man it was one of those days today, but I would like to thank God, my car caught on fire while I was driving, But I'am still blessed (prayer emoji, heart emoji)"
Based on the little information we have, it appears as though no one was injured during this incident. But according to Fournette's description of what happened, it seems as though his car just burst into flames while he was driving.
Scary and strange stuff.
Fournette is no stranger to vehicle accidents, unfortunately. Back in 2018 when he was with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Fournette was rear-ended at a high speed on a road somewhere in the Jacksonville area. Thankfully, no one was injured during that accident, either.
Well, with the exception of his Mercedes-Maybach 6, which was completely totaled.

Fournette was a good sport about the whole situation, and even took time to pose with a boy who was in the car that struck Fournette, as well as a State Trooper who arrived at the scene.
It's great to see Fournette escape another frightening incident without sustaining any sort of physical injury.

As it stands, the former running back for the Jaguars and Bucs is still an unrestricted free agent, actively looking for his next opportunity. Based on the rapidly decreasing value of the running back position, and the high number of available free agents still remaining, there's a good chance he will have to wait a while longer before he finds it.
But despite his lack of opportunity in the NFL at this moment in time, thanks to his good fortune on the road, at least he can say he's still in full health.
