Top Cardinals Prospects Opting to Skip Combine Workouts

In this story:
The 2023 NFL Scouting Combine is nearly here, and the Arizona Cardinals will have some interest in meeting with top prospects during their week in Indianapolis.
The Cardinals will have the opportunity to individually meet with players while also have medical examinations done by their own team doctors. Like every other team, they will also see most players participate in on-field activities.
However, some of the top prospects Arizona will be interested in watching will either entirely skip their on-field workouts entirely.
Alabama EDGE Will Anderson Jr. does plan on doing "some" work at Lucas Oil Stadium, according to NFL Media's Tom Pelissero.

Texas Tech EDGE Tyree Wilson will skip out entirely for drills and testing until his foot completely heals.

The Cardinals currently own the No. 3 pick and could very well take either of the three aforementioned players.
While Carter/Anderson have been the two main topics of discussion around the pick, NFL Media's Daniel Jeremiah recently mocked Wilson to Arizona at No. 3 (over Anderson) and cited that some teams cover Wilson's size over Anderson's.
In a conference call with reporters ahead of the combine, Jeremiah offered the following on Arizona's pick:
"Look, to me the way I have them stacked, like, I think Jalen Carter is the best player in the draft from Georgia, and I think that Will Anderson is the second best player," Jeremiah said.
"But I know in talking to people around the league and when I do mock drafts, you're trying to get just a feel and the potential outcomes there and not just doing the same exact thing every single time.
"I know that there's teams that have it really, really close, and some actually even prefer Tyree Wilson to Anderson just because of the size and the length and the attributes that he has there."
It's a big week for everybody in Indianapolis.
