Former Arizona Cardinals OL Justin Pugh has been anticipating a return to the field since tearing his ACL in Week 6 of the 2022 regular season. Currently a free agent and set to turn 33-years-old by the start of 2023, Pugh has kept his options open while attack his rehab.

On his Twitter account, Pugh said his ACL recovery was "going great" before pondering where he wanted to play next season.

Pugh has mostly played at left guard during his career but has also logged snaps at left tackle, right guard and right tackle since entering the league in 2013.

As to where Pugh will play for the upcoming season, that remains to be seen. He spent the first five years of his career with the New York Giants before spending the last five with the Cardinals.

Arizona brought back free agents in Will Hernandez + Kelvin Beachum on top of drafting Paris Johnson Jr. with the No. 6 overall pick in this past draft, making a return for Pugh (at least in terms of starting) low.

However, his veteran experience and versatility should see him sign somewhere once fully healthy - whenever that may be. He reportedly contemplated retirement prior to last season but seems intent on joining the field once more.

In the mean time, he's taken an avid interest in other topics such as player health/safety and things such as real estate, which was mentioned in the tweet above.
