Cardinals Not Pinning Blame on Josh Dobbs

In this story:
ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals are 1-5, and it was indeed another short press conference from head coach Jonathan Gannon on Monday.
No coach should be excited to speak with reporters following a loss, and through six weeks of football, the end result simply hasn't been there for Arizona.
From the outside, much of that blame rests on the arm of quarterback Josh Dobbs. Dobbs seemingly improved on a weekly basis after a horrid Week 1 in Washington before quickly reversing course the last two weeks.
In Week 6's loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Dobbs went 21/41 for 235 and one interception while also fumbling once. He missed a handful of open receivers and simply hasn't looked like the veteran many in the desert believed he once was.
“He will. No doubt, no doubt. He's a competitor," said Gannon after the game when asked if he thought Dobbs would bounce back.
"He is a warrior and he'll get back in the lab and it's not just Josh now it's me first, coaches, all the players, you know what I mean? We all got to pick up our feelings a little bit and go compete tomorrow.”
That was the same story when Gannon spoke with reporters at the team's facility in Tempe:

With Kyler Murray potentially arriving from the PUP list within the next few weeks, the window for Dobbs to rebound is closing. He's now faced disappointing performances in back-to-back outings and the Clayton Tune rumblings are again popping up from the fan base.
Dobbs will likely be the guy moving forward until Murray eventually returns - and despite his recent run in poor form - the Cardinals aren't allowing him to be the scapegoat.
