Cardinals Offensive Line Falls to Bottom of NFL Rankings

In this story:
The Arizona Cardinals' have done quite the amount of shuffling this offseason, and though Arizona isn't anywhere near the final stages of retooling their roster for the future, a great start was made after the team selected offensive lineman Paris Johnson Jr. with the No. 6 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Johnson - who has displayed the ability to play either guard or tackle - appears to slot into the vacant left guard position, though his future could rest at tackle beyond this season.
There's plenty of questions surrounding Arizona and what will unfold over the next few months, and though their offensive line is by no means a five star unit, there are much larger areas of concern for the Cardinals to focus on.
Pro Football Focus doesn't exactly see it that way, ranking Arizona's offensive line unit second to last in their rankings of the position group. Only the Tennessee Titans finished below them.
PFF projected their starting lineup with no surprises, though the center spot is the position most up for grabs.
PFF's Projected Cardinals OL
LT - D.J. Humphries
LG - Paris Johnson
C- Hjalte Froholdt
RG - Will Hernandez
RT - Kelvin Beachum
"The Cardinals seem to have an entire offensive line built from left tackles, with rookie Paris Johnson Jr. likely shoehorned in at guard and Josh Jones back to riding the bench after a breakout year in 2022," said PFF.
"With 44 penalties as a unit, the Cardinals finished last season tied as the most penalized offensive line in the NFL."
Those are valid points, and to be fair, Arizona's offensive line isn't getting any older/talented. There's a chance we could see the Cardinals move on from both Humphries and Beachum in the coming offseason.
Hernandez projects as the team's best returning starter - which might not be saying much.
The future can definitely be a bright spot for Arizona, though it's clear there are very low expectations for the upcoming season.
