The Los Angeles Chargers are going into the 2023 season with fresh minds. The 2022 season didn't end as the Bolts wanted it to, as it was filled with injuries and ended in the worst possible way in the postseason. All that is in the rearview mirror for the Bolts and their star quarterback Justin Herbert.

The standard view of Herbert's 2022 season is that it was a "down year" for the gunslinger, but he was still second in passing yards and threw a career-high in attempts, completions, and percentage. Overall, it was a good third year for Herbert, even though he was playing through injury.

Although we're inching closer to the 2023 season, the NFL Twitter account posted the top 10 plays of Justin Herbert's 2022 season, filled with big, explosive plays.

Although the plays in the reel were fantastic, fans still wanted to focus on the negative, as fans were bashing on the 25-year-old and the team for their postseason failures.

The 27-point collapse is inexcusable and embarrassing, but the best way to overcome that is to win football games and silence all the doubters. Most of the comments below were from Charger haters and Herbert doubters, but there were some Bolt and NFL fans that come to his defense and answered the question posed by the NFL.

At the end of the day, Herbert is one of the most talented quarterbacks in the game today. However, he must do a bit more to be in contention for the best quarterback in the game, and I believe he will get it done in 2023 with a more complete team and a competent offensive coordinator on his side.
