In this story:

Even though free agency was not the most active exciting in the land of the Chargers, one of the highlights was bringing in Eric Kendricks. The former All-Pro linebacker looks to help LA on the defensive end and prove to be a difference maker after a release from the Minnesota Vikings.

Fans like what they've seen from Kendricks during his eight seasons with the Vikings. He made the 2015 All-Rookie Team ,was named to the Pro Bowl in 2019, and also was given the honor of All-Pro that same year.

Minnesota reached the playoffs in four of his seasons there and he proved to be a key part of that squad. However, both sides agreed that it was time to go their separate ways and he found his way to the Bolts just a couple of weeks ago.

However, even though we are very excited to welcome him to the city, that history with his previous franchise will always remain and he made sure to send his blessings to them in a 'thank you' letter posted on The Players' Tribune.

"Man…. Minnesota, I love you all so much. I just wanted to say thanks real quick if you don’t mind. It doesn’t quite feel real that I won’t be suiting up in the purple and gold next season. I’m going to miss a lot about being a Viking, I can’t lie. Playing for you guys is all I’ve really known. Your family. Simple as that. And we had some great times. I’ve been thinking about them a lot these past couple of weeks. And the thing that really sticks out to me? Everything was so

fun

. It was just fun to play for you all."

In 17 games with the Vikings in his final run with them, the 31-year-old recorded 137 tackles and still proved to be a reliable option. We are very happy he is now wearing powder blue.
