Joey Bosa is one of the longest-tenured members of the Los Angeles Chargers as he was drafted by the franchise back in 2016 and remains under contract with them until 2025. He quickly became a cornerstone of their defense and usually makes life rough whenever he attacks the opposing quarterback.

However, that is only when he is healthy and that was far from the case in the 2022 season. Bosa only appeared in five games for the Bolts due to a lingering hamstring issue and fans were left to wonder exactly how much better the squad could have been with him on the field.

Bosa made his presence felt since day one as he was selected as the Defensive Rookie of the Year and also has participated in two Pro Bowls. In four out of his seven seasons with LA, he's been able to record double digits in sacks.

The 27-year-old linebacker could do no more than sit and watch as his team dropped a 27-0 lead to Jacksonville and went out sad after their best season in years.

Bosa has been determined to return better than ever in the upcoming season and had a simple message for anybody doubting why he makes $27 million a year.

"Getting back to the old me or whatever you want to say," said Bosa. "It's been going really well. I've been able to stay really consistent this year, it's going to be good getting out here and getting some football movement and all that stuff being with the guys."

He also shut down any talk of him dwelling on not being able to change what happened in the wild card game.

"If you're not motivated to win and to play," said Bosa. "This is the wrong job for you."

We are beyond happy to have our guy back and wish him nothing but health and success this season!
