Chargers fans may remember that back in 2021, the franchise announced their plans to build a cutting-edge practice facility for their players in El Segundo. This city has been a popular home for professional teams to practice at and currently reside the Lakers and Kings as well.

To think that your Bolts are playing in one of the newer arenas in SoFi Stadium and are also set to have some new practice headquarters. The fanbase has been patiently waiting for an update after the initial announcement and it looks like that time has come.

On Monday, the Chargers took to Twitter and revealed an exclusive sneak peak at how their construction is coming along so far and what their vision looks like for the final results. If it pans out anything like it does in the video, we'll have a masterpiece on our hands.

It does look like the Chargers are well on their way to achieving their goals with these new headquarters and this move to Los Angeles a couple seasons ago looks smarter every day.

Just beyond development and success on the field, LA's front office has made it clear they want to invest in the very equipment and resources that help their players improve. When asked about the thought process behind this new practice facility for the squad, GM Tom Telesco was ecstatic to talk about why they opted to go through with it.

"The look, feel and functionality of your training facility means more today than it ever has in professional sports," said Telesco. "Being able to create a building that can grow with technological advances – especially in regard to nutritional needs, strength and performance, injury prevention, medical treatment and game planning – is crucial to sustained success."

2024 cannot come soon enough but we know that our Bolts will continue to put in work day in and day out in their current facility.
