We have a very fun matchup this weekend in the NFL, as the Detroit Lions head to Sofi Stadium for a date with your Los Angeles Chargers. The game is scheduled for a 1:05 p.m. PT kick-off.

Detroit comes into this game fresh off a bye week, and they sit with a record of 6-2 on the year. They have proven to be one of the better teams in the NFC this season and will be looking to remain toward the top of the standings.

The Chargers come in with a record of 4-4 on the season, hot off a big win Monday night against the New York Jets. They want to keep things going strong, and a win would go a long way in keeping their playoff hopes alive.

"The Lions have the luxury of preparing for the Chargers for two weeks and recovering over this span. Los Angeles received the early bye in Week 5, and they’re struggling against quality opponents."

Per Tanner Kern and Brian Pempus of Forbes

According to DraftKings SportsBook, the Lions are favored in this game against the Chargers by a surprisingly slim three-point margin. They sit at -3 on the spread and are -155 on the money line. Even with this game being at Sofi Stadium, the odds are against the Bolts, making them a great value pick.

"The Lions are the best team in the NFL ATS this season at 6-2. Only Jacksonville has posted the same 75% cover rate in 2023."

Per Tanner Kern and Brian Pempus of Forbes

The over/under for this game is set at 48.5, and that seems like a fair number with two high-powered offenses. Both teams know that this game could be a shootout, making it a game to possibly take the over on.

Take the Bolts and run this week, as they seemed to figure some things out over the past few games. Being at home with a chance to get their record over .500 for the first time, the Chargers should be highly motivated in this game.

The team knows what is at stake for their season, and they should come out strong. If they can’t win this game, things could get very ugly for Los Angeles the rest of the way.
