After another frustrating season, the Los Angeles Chargers finally pulled the plug on the Brandon Staley experiment. Staley couldn't make it as the head coach of the team and was let go after an embarrassing primetime loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

With Staley gone, the Bolts are on the lookout for a new leader. They know that they can't afford to waste another season, so this hire needs to be for the long haul.

The Bolts will be casting a wide net to find different candidates, but there is one name that has been floated around lately. Long-time national pundit Colin Cowherd believes that the Chargers will be aggressive in making a run at Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh.

It will likely be difficult to pry Harbugh from Michigan, but teams have been trying for years. He has accomplished a lot at his alma mater and could be ready to get back to the NFL.

If the Bolts are able to land Harbaugh, it would be an absolute game-changer for the franchise. He is one of the best coaches in the game of football and has shown the ability to win at the NFL level.

The Bolts have one of the better rosters in the league, when healthy, and what they need now more than ever is guidance. Harbaugh could provide this for them, and it could be a great pairing.

He already won the Northern California crowd over during his time with the San Francisco 49ers, and now could do the same with the Bolts. The Chargers are an untapped sleeping giant in Los Angeles, and Harbaugh could help wake them up.

The veteran coach would be working with star Justin Herbert, so he wouldn't be scrambling to find his quarterback. This will be a draw to whoever takes over the Chargers open position, and it makes the Bolts an attractive destination.
