In this story:

Fans of the Los Angeles Chargers have become quite familiar with Tom Telesco and his ways as a general manager. And by become familiar, I do not mean that they have learned his ways of thinking and can guess his moves now. Instead, they have accepted that he is one of the more unpredictable GM's in the NFL.

He joined the Bolts' organization back in 2013 and while ha has not had the best of luck when it comes to draft picks, specifically in the first round, he makes sure to always do his homework. Ahead of this year's annual selection process, Telesco has revealed that he's become very familiar with the tools that mock draft simulators have to offer. Unfortunately, this probably makes it even harder for fans to see which direction he might go in when their 21st pick rolls around.

Just one day away from the big dance and few have a solid idea as to whether or not LA will even hold onto their first round pick instead of trading down. Chargers insiders have pooled together their resources in an attempt to figure things out and still no luck. Jeff Miller of The Los Angeles Times did his best to break down Telesco's mindset going the draft each offseason and explained why predictions are so tough.

"Daniel Popper tells me Telesco never has traded back in a decade of doing this for the Chargers, and Popper is rarely wrong. Of course, Popper also said he thinks Telesco could trade back, meaning that move almost has no chance of happening. If two sportswriters think one thing, Tom Telesco is pretty much certain to think something else completely." (Via Chargers.com)

It does not help that conflicting reports come out each day about all of the top prospects that LA supposedly has their eyes on. Bijan Robinson from Texas was originally a favorite for the Bolts to select as their future RB but now he apparently favors other squads. Jordan Addison has been a big name at WR for them but it's now believed he'll be taken early.

Nonetheless Chargers fans, we'll have some confirmed answers very soon. Telesco knows better than anybody else what they need to prove this season and it all starts with the draft.
