Chargers News: Fans React To Andy Bischoff, Marcus Brady Hires

In this story:
Your Los Angeles Chargers continue to fill out new head coach Jim Harbaugh's staff. The team's latest additions are tight ends coach and run game coordinator Andy Bischoff, most recently with the New York Giants, and offensive line coach Marcus Brady, the former offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts.
As far as the Bischoff hire is concerned, one fan is convinced his addition to the program will only help protect Pro Bowl quarterback Justin Herbert by reinvigorating the club's paltry run game.
We are heading in the right direction. Herbert needs protection and running game, not more pass play designs. Winning first stats second.

The TEs room must be upgraded: block in the run game and block/catch in the pass game, with every down accountability.
In Harbaugh I trust.
That said, the Bischoff hire was chastised by another fan, who also seems to be skeptical that retaining Herbert is the proper long-term champion fit for Los Angeles:
It's a DISASTER...

And everyone wants to DRAFT a QB...
This TEAM is AGES away from being COMPETITIVE...
One NFL appreciator noted that this ongoing mass exodus of Giants coaches seems to be an indictment of the program and its ownership as a whole:
It appears that working for the Giants current coach is not a very desirable job. I think given the opportunity the OC would have left too. Where there’s smoke there’s usually fire and there’s plenty of smoke here. Schoen said the DC spot was supposed to be filled by last week.

Given how lackluster New York's run game and tight ends were last year, the hire came under some additional scrutiny online:
Yeah because the Giants are really known for their great TEs and rushing success 😒

Another fan is absolutely hyped about the Brady addition:
aww shit

Not everyone was in such great spirits after the news broke, however. Below, a fan opines that Brady's fit as pass coordinator is an uneasy one:
Not sure i understand Brady as pass game coordinator. That was not his strength anywhere he has been.

This past season, Los Angeles regressed from a 10-7 record and a playoff berth to a miserable 5-12 finish, while Herbert missed the team's final four contests due to a right index finger surgery.
