Chargers Report Score Predictions: Can the Bolts Rebound Against Packers?

The Los Angeles Chargers dropped a close game against the high-rising Detroit Lions last week, making it appear as though the team could be turning things around. Justin Herbert also appears to be fully healthy, which could help his inconsistencies in the passing game.

The Bolts are still banged up though, as Gerald Everett will not suit up. Jaylen Guyton has finally returned along with the emergence of rookie Quentin Johnston. The team travels to Green Bay this Sunday, and the Chargers Report staff have their predictions for who will come out on top.

I think it’ll be a close game since the chargers are a bit banged up, but I simply haven’t liked what I’ve seen from Jordan Love / the Packers enough to think they win this game. Will definitely be a close one in Lambeau though.

The defense has been playing stellar lately, and they will continue to do so against the Packers. Expect the Bolts to come away with 3 INT on Jordan Love.

Chargers 32 - Packers 14

-Thomas Murray
The Chargers are entering the part of the season where every game feels like must-win territory. Fortunately, they have a date with a bad Green Bay Packers squad. I expect the Chargers offense to keep rolling, and the defense to do enough to get the win.

Chargers 27 - Packers 17

The Chargers have dropped some close games this season, but none has been more impressive than nearly taking down the Lions. That is a very talented team, and it could serve as a turning point for the Bolts. Herbert's hand has also healed up completely, meaning he will settle back into a more comfortable habit of gunning the ball down the field. The Packers will not be able to withstand the defense and offensive output from the Chargers.

Los Angeles absolutely needs this win. Even as Justin Herbert seemingly loses new weapons in his offensive arsenal, his passing numbers remain relatively unaffected. Green Bay after a hot start has fallen off in a major way and could be missing several key defenders. So long as Brandon Staley doesn't mess this up, it should be a happy weekend for Bolts aficionados.
