Chargers' Wide Receiver Duo Scrapes into Top 10 WR Duo Rankings

In this story:
The way to win games in the NFL nowadays has changed but also has remained the same. We are seeing more multiple wide receiver sets on offense for teams to try and spread defenses out. Teams are getting more creative each season with their offensive schemes, sometimes putting up to four wide-outs on the field at a time.
The offensive boom around the game of football has opened things up pretty well for the viewership of the NFL. Offense sells and is something that people want to watch. So with that, NFL teams have been scrambling to build very solid wide receiver units.
We've seen teams like the Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles have major success with this, and now other teams are doing the same. As for the Los Angeles Chargers, they are no different, and they have put together a strong wide receiver room themselves.
With Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and rookie Quentin Johnston heading things up, LA should have one of the better units in the league. But just when looking at rankings of wide receiver duos, Allen and Williams came in right at the bottom of the top 10.
Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports listed them right at number 10 on his list.
"This tandem has the combined asterisk of age and injury history; Allen is 31 coming off a shortened 2022, and Williams hasn't played a full season in five years. Both of them are difference-makers when active, however. Williams uses his 6-4 frame to excel as a downfield jump-ball artist, and Allen is a route-running machine, securing 95+ catches in five of his last six years. Rookie Quentin Johnston's arrival should helpfully lessen their loads a bit."
Per CBS Sports
I don't hate where they are placed, but I could bump them up a spot as well. The Dallas Cowboys duo of CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks is right ahead of the Chargers, and I may lean towards LA here just slightly,
We've seen them together on the football field, unlike Lamb and Cooks, so that has to count for something, right?
But this is the chance for Allen and Williams to make a statement this season, and if they can find success, they could be ranked much higher in the ranking next season.
