Chargers News: Why Recent Cowboys History Is Not In Bolts' Favor Tonight

In this story:
Your Los Angeles Chargers enter tonight's game against the Dallas Cowboys fresh off their bye week, and they know things could have been much worse to open the year. LA sits with a record of 2-2, but they narrowly escaped two games in a row prior.
Now with Dallas coming to town, they know what is at stake in the matchup. But the Cowboys themselves are coming off a bad loss, so they will want to use this game to help get them back on track. They are 3-2, and they know that this game against the Bolts could be very beneficial to their season.
However, recent history for the Cowboys following a loss doesn’t favor the Chargers. Dallas tends to be very good after a loss, and that could spell bad news for LA on Monday night.
“Since 2021, the Cowboys are 9-1 following a loss, with their only defeat coming at the hands of the Raiders in overtime. Even that game required Dallas to commit 14 penalties, including a costly third-down pass interference in overtime, for Vegas to come away victorious.”

But even with this, the Chargers have some history of their own entering this contest. They have played well against the Cowboys over time, and they are hoping that luck continues on in this matchup.
“Los Angeles has historically performed well against Dallas, holding a 4-2 record since 2000, but their weaknesses could play into the Cowboys’ strengths on Monday. The Chargers have struggled to defend the pass, where Dallas has Prescott throwing to Lamb and Brandin Cooks”

The Chargers have struggled to limit big plays down the field this season, and that is exactly where the Cowboys thrive in their offense. This will be something to watch, as the Cowboys will likely try to test the Bolts defense early to see what they can do.
Both teams need a win, and we should be in for a great game between the two teams!
