Taylor Swift Changes 'Karma' Lyrics for Travis Kelce on Eras Tour in Argentina

Travis Kelce was in attendance for Taylor Swift's second Eras Tour stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Swift and Kelce made news with two different moments.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made international news again this weekend, as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end joined Swift in Buenos Aires, Argentina for a stop on The Eras Tour. Then, Swift appeared to surprise Kelce (and an army of Swifties) with a lyric change in her performance of "Karma."

The original lyric, "Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me," was changed on Saturday night, with Kelce in attendance.

"Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me," Swift sang. The stadium, and then the internet, erupted.

Kelce was filmed watching the show from the VIP tent alongside Taylor's dad, Scott Swift, where their reactions to the new lyric were caught on camera.

Scott Swift is wearing a Chiefs lanyard in the video, bringing it full circle after Taylor watched multiple Chiefs games alongside Ed and Donna Kelce at Arrowhead Stadium.

After the show, Swift ran off-stage, where Kelce was waiting for her, creating another moment that left the internet in disarray.

With the Chiefs off last week, they'll have an extra day to rest and prepare for Jason Kelce's Philadelphia Eagles, as the Chiefs and Eagles will play on Monday Night Football on November 20.

Kelce is in the midst of another excellent season, and even after hosting Saturday Night Live after the Chiefs beat the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, Kelce's stardom has been taken to new heights (pun intended) during his relationship with Swift. I wrote about that aspect of Kelce's incredible year when discussing the ups and downs of the Chiefs' offense:

Kelce has reached international superstar status this season, which has been a genuine treat to watch and cover. It also serves to help the world realize how absolutely excellent Kelce has been throughout his career. It may seem silly if you're a die-hard Chiefs fan, but there's an entire portion of the world who wouldn't even recognize the names of Rob Gronkowski or Tony Gonzalez who now know at least a few members of the Kelce family. That'll be a fun wrinkle when it's time to debate Kelce's G.O.A.T. status.

Kelce would receive my vote for the greatest tight end of all time, and now he's making an impression around the world. Talk about good karma.
