Former Colts Star Close to Finding New Home?

In this story:
The Indianapolis Colts waived long-time superstar defender Shaquille Leonard last week after a long battle with recovery from back surgery to repair damaged nerves. However, NFL interest is already kicking in for the former Defensive Rookie of the Year, four-time All-Pro (three First-Team), and three-time Pro Bowler.
Per NFL insider for Bleacher Report, Jordan Schultz, a decision is incoming, and very soon.

It’s not a surprise, especially that Super Bowl contenders like the Dallas Cowboys (8-3) and Philadelphia Eagles (10-1) are interested in Leonard, as either one of those teams could be a “Maniac” away from getting to the next level.
Leonard currently sits on the year at nine games played, 65 total tackles, and 2 tackles for loss. If he can get up to speed in either one of these defenses, it could assist in many ways and would give Leonard a new chance to showcase what he can do to opposing NFL offenses.
If Schultz is close to accurate, you can expect one of these NFC sluggers to take the former Colts mainstay, giving him a new home without having to wait long. Regardless of opinions or results with Leonard, seeing him already getting league interest, and from Super Bowl contenders, is simply great for the sport of professional football.
We’ll see what happens on the side of Mike McCarthy and Nick Sirianni’s squads in the upcoming days.
