Cowboys 'Comfortable' with Signing Odell Beckham Jr. As WR Plans Free Agent Workout

In this story:
Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is finally ready to work out for NFL teams, in news that should prick the ears of the Dallas Cowboys.
Beckham Jr. will hold a workout for NFL teams in Arizona on Friday as his bid to secure a contract begins. ... and reiterating what Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has already suggested, Dallas is "comfortable'' with the idea of signing him.
So, should Dallas be attending? We assume that will be the case.
The Cowboys heavily courted Beckham Jr. last season, with several players, including Micah Parsons and Dak Prescott, speaking glowingly of the receiver and what he could bring to The Star.
But when push came to shove, and the Cowboys wanted a workout, Odell couldn't, and thus no deal was signed. That was due to Dallas wanting the receiver to help the team "now" rather than later.
Well, if Jerry Jones and his front office intend to sign Odell, all the homework must be done, including on his rehabbed knee, which is reportedly "100 percent."
Beckham Jr. fits the bill for the Cowboys with a need to secure more offensive help for CeeDee Lamb and Prescott.
Asking price will ultimately be the deal-maker or breaker. Thought to initially want $20 million APY, however that number could now be around $13 million APY.
DeAndre Hopkins is also another name that has been floating around. Hopkins could make his way to The Star, but a trade would need to be facilitated as he is under contract.
For Odell, no trade is needed, thus making a deal slightly easier for Dallas. If Odell has any intention of becoming a Cowboy, then Friday's workout in Arizona could prove decisive. And an up-close look could make Dallas even more "comfortable'' with the idea.
